Screen time has received significant media coverage over the last few years and as a result is increasingly concerning many parents and carers. This film and accompanying guide, made by Education Wales, aims to help you understand screen time, what the current research says and what you can do to help manage this with your child.

Parent's Guides: Keeping your children safe online

8.11.21: In the know is a webpage run by the welsh government with a collection of guides which cover what parents and carers should know about the mosp popular social media and gaming apps children are using today.  Each guide includes a detailed overview of the app, outlining the age rating and key terminology and highlights the risks each app poses to young people.  It also includes detailed instructions on how to enable parental controls and safety settings.
