E-Safety Curriculum @ Glanhowy Primary School

At Glanhowy Primary School we take online safety very seriously and are commited to educating our pupils about how they can and should stay safe online.  Pupils in years 2 to 6 are taught formal lessons on online safety half termly, these lessons cover a wide range of issues that children face in an increasingly online world.  In addition to this, we have a number of school assemblies throughout the year and an increased focus on e-safety during our annual 'internet safety week'.  Our commited group of digital leaders add a valuable pupil's perspective to our online safety provision.

Our E-Safety Message

While pupil's engage in lessons on a wide range of current e-safety issues our main message is that we should all be SMART to stay safe online.  The SMART rules are shared below and will give a parents a good start to conversations about e-safety at home.
